We received a desperate call from an RSPCA Inspector who had just rescued 3 female rabbits from a truly awful situation. They had nowhere to go and although they were not from our local area, we were determined to help. We named them Fremlin, Amarillo and Fuggle which are names related to beer and hops. They all needed veterinary attention as a result of the filthy cages they had been kept in. They had urine scalds, sore eyes from ammonia plus fleas and very long claws. Here is what the Inspector found….
We set straight to work to get the girls the veterinary help they desperately needed. We also had them neutered and vaccinated. We are delighted to say that within one month of their arrival they all went to their new homes this month. They have each gone to great new homes where they have rabbit companions and beautiful facilities. From suffering and neglect to forever homes – we are so happy to have turned their lives around. We believe they had been in their old home for a number of years. The future will be so different for them and that makes us so very happy.
If you can support our work this is what we will be able to continue doing.
