Before you throw something out, please think of the good it could do by donating it to us. Each bag that you donate to us could be worth £20 of vital funds that can help neglected and abandoned animals in your neighbourhood. We go to great lengths to ensure that every penny of value is extracted from the items that we receive

Both shops are able to accept a wide range of donations including:

  • Clothes and linen
  • Bric-a-Brac
  • Jewellery
  • Shoes
  • China and Glass
  • Books, CD’s, DVD’s and Records
  • Electrical Goods
  • Small Items of Furniture
  • Foreign Currency

We have to pay to dispose of items that we can’t sell, so please do not donate items that we can’t accept. For more information contact;

Donate unwanted presents

At Dartford, we can also make use of used postage stamps and scrap metal.

Why not donate any unwanted Christmas or Birthday presents to us so we can turn them into funds for needy animals?

Make sure all your donations are clean and usable. Your donations should also be worth buying – if you wouldn’t buy it then we probably won’t be able to sell it. The better the quality of your items, the more money we can raise from their sale.

However, we also welcome any old clothes or textiles that are no longer usable. We can raise money through textile recycling.

LEAVE US A GIFT IN YOUR WILL 

Your generosity will make a big difference to future generations of animals in your local area.

You can do this by making a Will or by adding a Codicil (a document which specifies alterations to your Will). If you are making a Will, please remember that RSPCA Kent North West Branch is a separately registered charity. To ensure that the funds end up where you intend them to go, we respectfully suggest that your legacy reads:

I give the sum of £……..(or specify a share of residue) to the RSPCA Kent North West Branch, Registered Charity Number 210633.
