LOOK AT OUT RABBITS LIVING THE NIGHT AWAY!

Did you know that rabbits are CREPUSCULAR? That means they are active early in the morning and late at night. We thought we could prove this with these photos. They are taken at 9:30pm on the longest day of the year. Our rabbits are very much up and about and enjoying exhibiting this natural behaviour. This is why we are investing in these amazing bit rabbit houses where they can chose to go inside or out anytime day or night. They make full use of this which they would not be able to do if they were being kept in hutches.

Being able to move around and exercise is going to be so important for poor Violet here. She has come from a situation where she had no freedom to move and you can see how obese she is. We will get her moving and give her the right diet to get healthy again before she goes to a new home. Obesity in pets is an increasing problem and really can result in a miserable and shorter life for our pets.
