Times are hard for so many pet owners and the last thing we want is for pets to go hungry, or for people to chose between feeding themselves or their pets. Emma has been out and about collecting pet food and redistributing it to local foodbanks. Our aim is that all of the food banks in our area will always have a stock of cat and dog food available and that they can signpost people to us for help with their animals. Animal welfare is not about taking animals out of homes and finding new homes for them IF they have a loving owner who just needs a bit of extra support.
Local stores have been really generous and our thanks go to Jolleys Pets, Morrisons at Erith and Sidcup, Asda at Greenhithe. also thanks to the public who are dropping into our RSPCA Charity Shops at Market Place, Dartford and Windmill Street, Gravesend and donating food.
